Scrub King
Scrub King 4x4 is a manufacturer of stainless steel and aluminium 4x4 accessories and adventure gear. We were initially approached to design a stand to display but this relationship evolved into marketing consulting, social media design, merchandise design and a website refresh moving from Wix to the more ecommerce optimised Shopify complete with an easy to use vehicle search system to organise vehicle specific parts and make them easy to find.
Logo Design
The bull with a crown mark was something the client wanted to keep but they lacked a consistent word mark to pair with it. We developed a simple bold and aggressive word mark that can be used with and without the outline to maintain legibility in all scenarios.
SOCIAL TILES
Studio Welcome managed Scrub King's Instagram presence and Meta marketing program. We helped to grow their following from 1000 -> 6000+ followers with a combination of lifestyle imagery, advertising posts and paid advertising.
VEHICLE WRAP DESIGN
A "rolling statement" was the brief. Using the colour palette of grey, white and red we developed this design incorporating a topographical map of the local Lake Macquarie area, a personal touch to a design that is bold and doesn't alienate people that aren't from the area.
SIGNAGE
With a showroom opening at their manufacturing facility Scrub King needed a way to display their large underbody protection while highlighting the features of the units. We did delivered and installed 2 large options, predominantly black with yellow and red highlights allowing the plates to shine as the centrepiece.
Apparel & Merch
With a lot of the apparel in the adventure / 4x4 industry coming across as too busy and often tacky, we wanted to develop a range of shirts and hoodies with simpler, more wearable graphics. For people with an interest in 4X4 but don't necessarily want it to be their entire identity.
